Dental insurance options?

Hi,
Just this January I chipped my front tooth off in just over half exposing the nerve. I had a root canal and the remaining tooth was then capped with something they call bonding. However this bonding is already showing signs of wear. I have done a bit or reading and bonding is not as strong as porecelain. I am a little annoyed at this as i never said money was a limit. Of course it is but i want to get the best treatment which involves least repair and visits back to the dentist so a payment plan could have been worked out. Anyway, back to the point. I am anticipating that the bond will need repair in under a year as I dont want decay getting underneath.
Firstly I am wondering if there are any dentists out there that can suggest the best long term solution (excluding pulling it out and leaving it empty). Porcelain? Continued repeated bonding? Extraction and a crown?
Secondly I was considering dental insurance but as this is an existing problem I guess they wont include it or charge a high rate for it? Thus is it best to pay a one off treatment to fix the thing
Sorry for the long post!
Thanks
Sarah

cant see the tooth so cant comment on best solution. However if the tooth broke exposing the nerve there is a high chance of the nerve dying off and the tooth needing root treatment.
Bonding a composite in this situation is a good medium term restoration because it allow easy access to the pulp if root treatment necessary.
It is a good idea to leave teeth like this a good time to settle down.0
