Firstly I'll also add my many thanks to Nudge and Barneydog et al
Also many thanks to everyone else for all the nice comments and good wishes.
Holiday just about Ok I suppose, accommodation itself alright but not happy with the attitude & approach of the people running it and its facilities.
Weather got too hot for the last 4 or 5 days - 40C or over most of the day and often 30C during the night made it very uncomfortable - especially with a leg in plaster
And the injury & cast stopped the Turkish Bath & trip to the mud baths at Dalyan I'd planned.
I've had 7 or 8 of the Turkish Baths with Oil massage etc in the past, and been to Dalyan twice before ... I was really looking forward to doing them again
Still managed to see some old friends and spend a couple of days with them chatting about anything & everything, sharing some good Turkish food etc.
I've actually been home a few days but I'm only now just about back in the "land of the living" .....
had a head full of cotton wool, not exactly sure what day it is, feeling rather nauseous
... only been getting about 90 minutes sleep each night. I'm not exactly in pain but just very uncomfortable which leads to a fractious and disturbed night
Leg cast will stay on for 2 more weeks, so still on crutches, and MIGHT need further surgery.
The bone might finish healed (X-ray is not very positive) such that there will be a lump (maybe with a sharp edge/point) just under the skin that might need trimming off. And that's the GOOD NEWS
The tendon that's attached to the broken bit might end up being a little loose and may need re-attaching further up the bone so that it's tighter:eek:
I'll know more in a fortnight.
Anyway I'm back - at least for the moment anyway
Thanks again
Cheers  Q

My Saturday Daily Mirror does not have a Lidl voucher in. Is there a difference between a Daily Mirror in Scotland and one in England?0

Yes the Daily Mirror in Scotland isn't the same paper as in England, the Daily Record in Scotland is the sister paper to the Daily Mirror in EnglandDon't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0
