Would you change jobs purely for more money?

I had a perfectly good job working 7-3 Mon to Friday and I got bored and started looking for another job. Having found a new job paying considerably more money I decided to take it. Worst decision I had ever made they were an awful company to work for and made my life hell. I left 7 months later and went back to the previous company. Money is not everything being happy is.1

Not JUST for more money, I'd want to know what the package included, eg pension contributions, health insurance, working hours etc but I'd also want to know about the ethos of the company.
My current employer is generally great, very flexible around hours as long as the work gets done, supportive when there are problems etc. However they did recently threaten something which got me thinking about looking around, but I would hate to go somewhere I didn't feel as happy.Signature removed for peace of mind0
