I wish they would start giving out the same information! I usually don't notice my invite until all the decent slots have gone so I am trying to keep an eye out this year! I just want to know if I'm getting an invite. Wish they would send the email....

the last 5 years or so i got a VIP sale invite - an email usually but the last sale i didnt get one.
I usually spend during the year a little but mainly in the sale. The email usually came thru hours after i had already booked it as i used to just sign into my account and the link was there on the left hand side. I used to get a booklet come through with all the lists of items too, not sure if i will get one this time as i havent spent since the last sale. Just tend to find that i overspend when i get the invite anyway.
If you dont get an invite dont be too disheartened as it seems that there stock levels are pretty low anyway and i used to mainly get the kids shoes, jeans etc and i think debenhams are just as good and there isnt such a drama buying from them, i think NEXT are getting a little unfair with this VIP thing, it should just be random and u shouldnt feel obliged to have the catalogue and spend loads. Post has just been but no white envelope for me Ive had VIP invites for a few years so am still hoping.... Hope it doesnt come out tomorrow morning, im at the hairdressers lol

its normal for stores to reward high spending customers after all they are more likely to spend more in a sale

Well I dont fit their criteria anymore as I havent spent any money with them since my last summer sale.
