Bank Charges and Debt collectors

Hi all,
Just want to know about when your account with big charges added on in the past has been sent on to a Debt collection company, can I still reclaim these charges?

I had an account with the alliance leicester £300 overdraft but by the time it get sent on, the Debt collection agency said I owed £1200 on that account!

What should I do folks??:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Kind Regards

  • You can still claim the same way as any other account, whether the account is still open, defaulted or closed. Just write to them the same way as all the other accounts with a DPA request and start the process

    I just got settlement of £500 + from Cap one on an old account that I had settled with a debt collector
  • Well I hope you can I am!
