Well, kind of. At least, I won't be lurking around the forum quite as much.
As of midnight tonight, my automatic discharge kicks in. The months have flown by, and I'll wake up tomorrow no longer being bankrupt. Happy days....
I suppose in time I should start thinking about getting my credit file cleaned up, but since I never want to own a credit card again I'm not overly worried. (By the way, has everyone checked out the film 'Maxed Out'? you can see the whole thing broken down into sections on Youtube. My BR happened because of business failure, but the credit cards sure didn't help.)
So first of all, thank you to everyone on this forum for all your help, whether it be to questions I've asked or simply info that I've found out about by reading through other threads. Despite the best efforts of the debt charities, this forum is the best resource around as far as I'm concerned. The local CAB where I live are helpful but hopelessly under-resourced.
My big fear was losing the house, but thanks to the advice about dealing with estate agents' valuations and haggling with the OR/trustees, we got back the BI for an affordable price.
And secondly, a word of encouragement to anyone who's facing BR or just starting out on it. For all the pain, stress and struggle, bankruptcy is a Good Thing. It's a clean sheet, a way to start your life off again. Protection from the never-ending phone calls that drive you to unplugging your phone and instructing your kids not to answer it. You can sleep well at night.
So keep your chin up and enjoy the weather.

good luck from me.....my AD happened nearly two months ago..I, too gained much from this forum.......more than CAB could provide too...but that no doubt comes from research and experience.
I hope you stay around here.....helping and advising others who are setting out down the road to BR...even if only occasionally, maintains the knowledge and experience base which made this forum so great and useful to us in the early days.
Without folk like you, this forum would degenerate into a mass of urban myth....with advice no better than that obtained at the lounge bar.
It is the strength of those who have been through the process, that gives hope and strength to those still to come.
Your comments, advice or whatever will be valued by everyone........good luckNo, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

Crikey, I just watched that on your recommendation...a scary if sobering and rather sad documentary looking back a few years over what many of us know now (with a rather frightening postscript from that on-the-ball financial woman at the end*).
Here's a link to part 1 for those who want to watch it (9 parts, about 90 mins). I should warn, it's not a happy watch, but I think all of us who have been through either BR or other severe financial difficulties can understand.

'Maxed Out' is indeed very sobering. I heard a report a few days ago that Americans are the most marketed-to population in history, and the most marketed thing in that society is debt itself, by way of credit cards and loans. Quite often the only thing separating us from the Americans is a time-lag.
It's no wonder that many people find themselves struggling with debt when an entire industry is spending millions pushing their debt-products. Of course I know that there's a strong element of personal responsibility on the part of the individual, but still....
I will still pop back onto the forums on a regular basis and help out wherever I can. If you don't help someone out who's in the same situation, then all the pain you went through yourself has been partially wasted. Also, a friend of mine is looking at setting up a CAP bureau (Christians Against Poverty - similar to CAB debt counselling) and I may be able to help him with that.
So nice to check the insolvency register first thing this morning and see 'Status: discharged'...:j0
