I've just phoned the court up and spoke to a lady who went through the procedure with me. She mentoined a judge and OR, I'm shaking like a leaf already! She is sending me the forms out. She said the forms were very complex........are they ?

You could fill them out online and then submit them when you've got the details right.BR 4/10/07

Thanks wok boy, will have a look online. Might be better than scribbled bits of paper!0

do them on line, I found them so much more easier to do them that way, still made millions of mistakes though, I spent half my time apologising to the or yesterday!0

if you decide on the onlime forms one thing to remember....SAVE OFTEN! as the site can sometimes crash meaning you loose whatever you type if you didnt...agree with everyone though they are pretty straightforward to do anything you need help with just shout & we'll do our best to help
and dont worry too much about the judge...half the time you never see oneWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I did ours online, and whilst there is a lot to fill in it is quite self explanatory, and of course there is this place to ask questions !
As for the judge, we did see one, but he was really nice, they aren't in robes, just a suit in an office.
Try not to worry and keep asking the questions.0 -
Thank you all for the replies.
Every little bit of advice/info you give me gives me the courage to carry on xxxx0 -
They're long but relatively straight forward. Just take your time and if you get stuck you can always come here for advice - I did and my bankruptcy went through ok.
Best of luck with it - its a new start, which everyone deserves.0 -
Hi..I concur with all the above re-online forms.
They are really very much easier to understand...and can be altered/adjusted as and when necessary..but do save often, ie at the end of each work session.
Once each section has been fully completed as best you can, then that gets submitted.
Much will not apply to you.
However, once completed..[and there is a note which tells you exactly how much you've done on each section...and when it's complete].....you can then print it off...but what you get is the proper leaglese forms..not what you've been filling in.....ie full of whys and wherfores and thou arts, etc.
Buy a full pack of paper for your printer, and make sure the ink is topped up.......there's around 40 pages or so to be printed out...plus you'll want duplicate copies for yourself..and one other.....triplicate copies are needed in court....
BR is so very tough on printers!
Put each set of copies in a file or folder, that cannot fly open if you drop it.
The court keeps one copy, the OR gets another, and you get the third.
The biggest advantage of completing the forms online on the IS site is.... the OR can access what you've put originally on the online form....
Thus, at Interview time, the OR already has access to your information, which saves time and trouble...but have your information ready , to confirm correctly to the OR....don't want two different stories coming out, do we?No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
