Get your own back on those who chase you on the phone.

I uaed to get calls on my phone hassling em for moeny etc and at the time used to get really stressed where as now with the help of this forum can handle them much better and put the onus on them to help me but what about getting an 0870 number which is quite cheap and giving that as your new contact and get paid everytime they ring you?

Of course this would only work for those who can handle some of the more ruthless calls but imagine how much fun it would be to go slowly over the call, pretend you didn't hear what they said, double check every bit of paper, ask them to hold whilst you get some paperwork to clarify some details etc and all the time they are paying you money for the call.

I am off to find out how much it would cost as happen to know a few who are in that line of business.:D

Oh I have great methods of stopping people phoning.

Scream, pretend you are five and "mummy is gone", bash the keypad, keep asking "what" and "why", cry, tell them you've moved etc.
    Hours of fun.

Mint asked my dad the other day when was convieniant to phone back, and he said 22nd November 2022 and they said they'd get back to him then :rotfl:

More than likely they'd look at the type of phone number you had and not call you. Which would be a bonus in itself...

You can obtain 0870 number for free.
I'll do a search on here for a link someone had.
    Happy chappy
  • Like the idea of 0870 number.
Please advise as to how to obtain.
  • this has been suggested before-see earlier thread for any flaws in plan.
  • The mobile phone one sounds even better but I suspect straight away the number may be a giveaway and some company phones are barred from making caklls to premium numbers.

I'd laugh if they phoned back on the 22nd November this year at 22 minutes past 10 in the evening, but that's just me.
