A4 Laminator £12.97 in Tesco till 20 Feb

Popped into wife's Tesco tonight and they are selling an A4 Laminator for £12.97 reduced from £17.97 until February 20th. Comes with 5 x A4 pouches but they also have packs of 50 assorted pouches or 25 A4 pouches at £2.93 reduced from £4.93. Just had to grab one and some pouches at that price, specially as the wife gets a further 10% staff discount. Dunno how good it is yet but will find out when she brings it home.

I don't suppose you have any idea what it's like?

if you could tell me if it's hot/cold and the micron thickness it can handle that would be great, thanks!

It's a hot laminator and the maximum pouch thickness is 0.125mm. The pouches in the Tesco pack are 80 microns per side which gives quite a nice rigid package when you laminate a piece of ordinary printer paper. Speed is 250mm per minute
with a maximum laminating capacity of 1mm.

Just tried it and I have to say that I'm well chuffed. For a picture of it see the following :-

Thanks for this shilcor, looks good value. Amazingly Mrs Shaboo has been typing out words on a sheet tonight for Little Miss Shaboo's reading practice and I have to take them in tomorrow to laminate at work. Hadn't looked to buy one as I didn't think you could get them this cheap.Think I'll pop in tomorrow and see if they've got them locally.

Oh and the picture you uploaded, that's a nice touch so we can see the product 'in the flesh' as it were.

Excellent post. I have been looking for one of these for ages and never found such a good deal. Just off to Tescos.
