I looked at the Cake Decorating one... but I can get a sub for the same price direct from the company at any time anyway - so not much of a "sale" there!!0

I looked at the mens fitness, Health & Fitness and Home & Garden.
U can add them to your basket but it does say for example on the mens fitness
'' Direct Debit - Direct Debit - 3 issues for £1 followed by £19.95 every 6 issues''
Dont want to get myself tied into any contract unless u can cancel after the 3 months??...hmm....______________________________________________

this week for nothing and computer-active for 3p can't be bad!
I only wish I had found out about the cashback sites, such as Top CashBack before. They are actually so easy. I've got mine so that it opens on eBay straight away, so everything I buy from eBay gets cash back. I got my car insurance via them and have £45 waiting for me when I want it (just from the insurance!):rotfl:, as well as getting the cheapest deal on the web!:T:T:beer:0 -
when cancelling direct debits, can you literally just do this with your bank rather then contacting the company where u buy from?0
-
You can do this with your bank- however, if you 'signed' a contract or agreed to one and agreed to the full term (ie 12 months) they are within their rights to request the money and any debts or money owed how they see fit. So always a good idea to call them to let them know incase they say otherwise.0

I use online banking and cancel the D/D as soon as the first payment has been taken. You get the number of mags which are due with the initial payment then they stop.
Must have done this 10-15 times in past few years and no problems so far. I think they just rely on people either forgetting to cancel or just maintaining the subscription.
