Alliance and leicester rates- confused
Hi all, Newby so apologies in advance.Yesterday logged on to Alliance&leicester website to do online banking and also looked at loan rates 8.9% advertised.Do a search through google for Alliance&leicester click on a link and go to loans same rate 8.9% advertised.Received MSE weekly email and in the big and easy ways to save box Alliance and leicester loan 7.8%.Click on this link and it goes to same web page as before yet rate is now 7.8% and even if you then click any link through google or any way to A/l web page it always comes up with 7.8% where before it was 8.9% in fact the only way to see 8.9% ad is to close the browser and open again.Anyone know why afterall 1.1% can make quite a difference over the term of a loan.

Because hen you click the link, it goes to a promotional rate. You may not get that rate anyway, as it is only a typical APR. The final APR depends on your personal circumstances.Best Regards
