Hi all.
I was on a DMP plan for a good few years with the CCCS until i lost my job the other year when i took over sorting my creditors out myself by offering a token payment each month which they all accepted £1 each. Now i have been in fulltime work for the last 2 months i am thinking of doing a DMP plan again but was not sure if to try PayPlan or National Debtline for it this time instead of CCCS as last time we was with CCCS we always use to get phone calls from creditors to say they had not received any payments from CCCS.
Can anyone tell me how good PayPlan or National Debtline DMP's are compare to CCCS service.
I dont want to file for BR as i was to pay off all my debts myself
Chris

Hi
I'm with CCCS so can't comment on Payplan, I signed up with National Debtline but they then pass you over to CCCS or Payplan.DMP mutual support thread member:3270 -

That's interesting. I'm with Payplan and I get the occasional letter from creditors saying the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's just the creditors trying it on. Or at least I hope so. I'd like to think the DMP companies don't actually hold payments back.0 -
Hi Chris,
I can only talk from my experience..we've been with Payplan since March 2006 ,and they have been brillient, I don't receive anything only the odd email from them every 3 months to check we are okay, they do an annual review every year to see if your circumstances have changed, they do have other things like on how to cut down on your outgoings and will offer advice where you can change things but there is never any pressure to do anything.
On the odd occasion I have had a letter from a creditor but I found out it's because when you pay Payplan there is a delay in your creditor getting it it's just the way its set up, but we are very happy with them..but that is our experience only and can't speak for anyone else, they also tried for us to go into an IVA but my wages arn't sustainable at the moment so we can't so its back to our DMP.
Hope this has helped good luck !!!0
