Asda online 'Rollback'

I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there a way or even a certain day that these 'Rollback' offers end? I know with offers like '2 for £5' it gives a date when the deal ends so you know whether it will still be on offer by the time you get the shopping delivered, but there doesn't seem to be an option to view this for the rollbacks.

It doesn't happen often but sometimes an item may go from say £1 back up to £5+ on the day you get it to your door. The only way of checking seems to be 'editing' your shop the day before the delivery and checking if it's all the same as when you originally ordered, but even that's not foolproof!

Thanks, sorry its such a boring topic!

Had this happen to me twice. Once on some mature cheddar and once on Kenco coffee. I always check my order online the night before the day it's going to be delivered, to see if the prices have changed (I usually create an order over a several day period) and if they have, I remove them from my order.

In my experience - but don't hold me to this as it may differ from store to store - rollbacks finish on a Monday as do most special offers

Oh right. I've got an order that I booked for next Sunday. I do the same, add all the items and check for price differences a couple of times up to the day before and take them out if they have doubled or whatever.

Hope you are wrong about the Monday thing though, because we've got some bargains in the 'Rollback' section for next week!

    I hope so too :)

Be interesting to see what happens. It would also be interesting if we were able to work out how long a new rollback offer lasts for. I usually get a Tuesday or Wednesday delivery because they have the cheapest delivery charge, but this week I needed it for Monday, and one of the things I ordered at a rollback price is already back up to full price. It's not something I buy on a regular basis, so I don't know how long the price had been rolled back for.

Be so much easier to budget if you knew how long the rollbacks lasted for  but the Special Offer ending on a Monday night has happened to me several times - easy to spot, because I normally have a (fortnightly) Tuesday/Wednesday delivery

Yeah we usually get them on a Sunday, even though it's a bit dearer. Also do it every two weeks, mainly because of the delivery charge. It always comes to about £50 so it can be annoying logging on the day before and it's £55 or something, you have to look everywhere on yer list to see what has been rolledback to unrollback times!
