I found a three man tent, labelled £20. I thought I'd try it but it still came up as £20. If I actually needed a tent *laughs* then I may have bought that as it's a bargain price. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Wish I had known earlier, my son has just come back from the Wakestock festival.
He obviously hasnt washed for 4 days as the tent now has a distinctive odour!!!
for £4.98 I would have told him to leave it there LOL!!!0 -
Got myself one and my brother one about half an hour ago. last two in the shop I think. Unless the staff are keeping them.0

I have tried 3 stores now and no luck. :-( Im gutted. Cant bring myself to pay £20 for one, when I know they were going for less then a fiver.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

A few people have said these are ideal for festivals, and they are! Very easy to put up and cheap at that price.
But they can be tempting to leave behind... they're just single-skin so not perfectly weather-proof and not build to last. And it can be easy to snap part of the pole when struggling with the damn thing to get it down! Also then a little bulky to carry home with all the rest of your gear.
If you think to yourself "Ah, sod it - was only a fiver", or if jenjen's asked you to leave it behind (), I implore you to please drag it to a nearby skip. Festival clean-ups are a nightmare! And the increase of "disposable" tents ain't helping.
Said my piece...

I gave in and bought a double skin one from blacks, on offer at £29.99 then takes 20% off at check out and you can add another 15% off with a quidco code, so you can get it for about £20. From what I have read the double skin ones are better if it rains.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0
