the value of 1200 points depends on where you spend it - at sainsburys it'd be worth just under £5 (250 - £1), but at other places it'd be worth different amounts - check out https://www.nectar.com

Must admit I've never bothered that much with Nectar points - the deals are really miserley in comparision to Tescos. Also these vouchers state they must e used by the original recipient and once only and points will be credited within 28 days so not sure if Nectar are going to check up on who's entitled and who's not
    There will always be:
A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE ;)

Does any one know if this can be used with a redemption points voucher of £5 off when you buy 2 adult meals??
Like previous poster i am a tesco's girl and don't understand these nectar points!
    Thank you
  • 1200 points is worth, as pointed out before, £6 off a shop in Sainsbury's or £12 off in Adams children's clothes shops. There are others, but these are the two I use most.

With regards to using a points voucher and money off voucher - Brewers Fayre should only take one of them at a time in any one transaction, HOWEVER, there is a sneaky way round it.

Order your meals and hand over the £5 off or £10 off voucher for buying the two or four meals. They'll usually deduct it off the bill there and then - but ask to keep the 'tab' open. Go, eat and enjoy the food, then once you're ready to pay, go back up with your points voucher and ask to close the bill. If you're luck you'll get a different member of staff who won't really know if you've already used a voucher. If it's the same one, just plead ignorance if they say you can't but where I go they'll happily take all the vouchers - even at the end together so it seems to be a policy that is applied differently across the country.
  • Also some Brewers Fayre's have been sold by Whitbread to M&B - the ones that don't have Travel Inn's next door to them I think. These ones will be re-branded by Mitchells & Butler and will not be taking part in the Nectar scheme hence you might get refused in some of the restaurants. Check to see if there is a Travel Inn next door, they'll still likely be taking Nectar cards
