Everyday Loan Harrasment

Hi All,

I will appreciate any advice you can provide me with.

I took out a loan of £600 with Everyday loans in May 2010 and made my first payment of £75 at the end of May.

I have only received notice a couple of days ago that my contract will be terminated with my employer and I will officially be unemployed end of july. In short they called yesterday as I cancelled my DD because I have just entered into a DMP with CCCS. I was going to call them today and explain the situation to them today.

However they call my work number to harass me about the payment for June. I call them back from my prsonal mobile to request in a civil tone to not call me at work ever as that is harassment. I explain my impending unemployment and my DMP with CCCS because of my financial constraints. The agent was very aggressive and offensive and stated that they were not willing to accept a DMP until a minimum of 3 payments has been made.

I said to them that CCCS will be handling payments on my behalf from end of July 2010. The agent said it looks like fraud blah blah. I was speechless at this accusation consideriing my situation and I advised them that all I can afford to pay is £20 this month.

The lady agent was then obnoxious and said they will not accept this and that I should 'think about it' , call them back and then she hung up.

I have immediately written a letter of complaint & harassment requesting my numbers to be removed from theirr systems and all future correspondance to be put in writing. I will sned this recorded delivery to head office and their branch I got the call from.I am wanting to pay but I do not know if they will attempt any further dodgy and appalling tactics.

What can I do?
