Pre Employment Information Form

Just been invited to a final interview and been sent a pre employmnent information form, in which they want to do a credit check on me. It also says if your credit check fails we will not be able to employ you, does this mean they only employ people with good credit and although i have passed all other criteria they may reject me? Or is it just a standard form? Someone please advise?
