Personally, I think the humble, much-maligned microwave has been the best invention of the last X years.
Depending on whether or not your caravan has one, my suggestions would vary quite dramatically!
If it DOES, then I'd be all up for cooking and freezing some dishes such as bolognese or curry before you go... and then just defrosting via m'wave and cooking some pasta/rice/whatever to accompany.0 -
last time we went away i took 2 hm bol sauce from freezer - just as we were going out the door. The 1st night we had spag bol and the second night i used other to make a lasagne which didn't really take too long.0
