noisy Husky fridge

Hi,

got a Husky drinks chiller which works well but it ices up at the back after about 4 days and when it switches on to cool it makes loud cracking noises as if the ice is defrosting and then freezing again.

Its fine after a defrost but then ices up again after 3-4 days and starts again making loud cracking sounds which is annoying. Tried setting the thermostat different which helps but it still does it.

Is this common with these?

best regards

My Fosters Husky ices up every so often but don't pay any attention to how long it takes to freeze up unfortunatly.

    Have you tried emailing Husky?

Had a Husky from Lidls for about a month and no sign of ice forming. Surely ice forming is a symptom of damp air getting in. Have you checked the seal around the door?

Also, it shouldn't be near any warm areas - eg cookers, etc.

Also amazed at how quiet ours is. Just a faint 'kerlunk' as it switches on and off.

Sorry ppg - early night last night! Thermo set to medium - no 3.
