Beware, aldaniti.net are advertising (of all places) on the BT Phone Book website via pop-up ads. :eek:

I was searching for a number, and (cutting it short) found a pop-up on one of the pages I landed up at saying, "Win an iPhone - Congratulations. You've just been selected! [picture filched from Apple website] [red bar, white type] Are you a winner? CLICK HERE"

Suspicions immediately aroused. I run a Mac, so not worried about PC malware, and decided to have a quick view of the destination page, saw the address was not BT but aldaniti.net, closed the tab and googled "win an iphone aldaniti" -- to find this forum! Have reported it to BT, now letting users on here know.

cjcooper I think its a scam , it doesn't say you won a mini cooper, but "you have been selected to win a mini cooper". I have received scam emails as well, not this one. It is very disheartening. Here's hoping you will win a car in the future.
