  • Le Creuset are excellent - alot of top chefs use them. Unfortunately, they are all out of stock at Sainsburys.

I have the 23cm cass dish in Teal (the only colour available in that link) and it is superb. Paid about £70 for mine ages ago and don't regret a penny of it. Easy to clean, highly conductive, can start frying things on the hob and pop it straight in the oven. Can't recommend these highly enough.

    At £40, it's a steal.

    I will say this:

Sometimes we buy the right thing for the wrong price. Other times we buy the wrong thing for the right price.

This is the right thing for the right price.... A'ight!

These are absolutely excellent. They always clean up nicely, you can even clean off burnt on food easily after a little soak. Also, you can put it in the oven or on the hob. They are built to last a lifetime. We have my mum's old saucepans which she got second hand that are now more than 30 years old. They are our only saucepans, we cook at least one meal everyday and they still look good enough to sell on (but we never will!)
Amazon gets some good deals on these, can't recommend enough!

  • Visited two of my local TK Maxx stores - never been to TK Maxx before. Seems like lots of random stuff with no regular stock of product lines.

They hardly had any Le Creuset - literally just 2 or 3 items. They have the things I want on their website. I was wondering are the website prices the same as in store?

Do you know of any discount codes or codes for free delivery. I noticed there is no cashback with Quidco for TK Maxx.

    Many thanks!

    Absolutely that's what it's like.
I've been to one store before and got nothing and went to another and bought 5 evening dresses.
When you do get lucky it's absolutely fantastic, but there can be days when there is nothing and there is a certain amount of rummaging around.
  • lisyloo you ever ordered from their website? I was wondering if everything on there is in stock?

Still trying to find a discount code.

    Thanks!

I've never found a cast iron le creuset dish in Tk maxx, they have plenty of the stoneware collections though at some pretty decent prices.

I find the thing with tk maxx is that you need to know a bit about what you're buying. i.e. don't walk in, look at the label and believe their rrp, it's normally tosh.

Conversely, I've seen some stuff that has had an rrp well below normal, let alone the price they sell it at.
