And my choice x 3. That's some nice stuff for £30. I know if you spent £30 on its own you could probably get more food/meals etc. But if you often go out this makes a cheaper alternative. Plus stocking up on the wine is always a good thing. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Whoo Hoo! Got a £7.49 chicken - got lots of strange looks when I was raking to find the biggest. Obviously not a lot of MSE'ers in my store, as some where just picking up the nearest one (and some were small - round about the £5 ish mark!)
Hope you manage to grab a bargain:o0 -

they were my choices tonight - went down lovely:D just planning what to have for tea tomorrow!0 -
Woman in front of me had her trolley "guarding" the chickens as she raked through them all.
I said "excuse me" as I wanted to get into some other food and she ignored me so I moved her trolley slightly and then said "excuse me" again as I still couldn't get to the food. Again she ignored me so I had to physically push her out of my way. She didn't complain, just as well as she would have got a mouthful. Watched her leave the store with 5 chickens.0 -
had the paella with potatoes and vanilla cheese cake tonight and it was yummy
tomorrow im having one of the chicken dishes (cant mind which one)0 -
Have M&S increased the portion sizes now for this offer? I was not impressed previously.
Waitrose has better value much of the time if you want to be upmarket.
Want real value? Then Aldi - especially recommend their vegetable lasagne (95p) which I suspect many a restaurateur could pass off as his own, and I also recommend their 89p butter-sauce (orange box) fish pie - I can taste proper fish in it, much better than the leading brand of fish pie which has increased in price from 69p a few years ago first to 88p then 99p and now often £1.22 (although £1 in some stores).Escaped from Barnet to freedom in the South-East!0 -

There are't any mentioned. But.......
I have noticed that sometimes a branch won't have 'enough' of one of the menu items and it won't put it with the others.
Example: last time there were Oakland chickens they weren't with the menu display but tucked on the end of a gondiler (sp) and there were only about 5 of them. However if you grab and take as part of the £10 meal deal it will get rung up as such!
I have found it worthwhile printing out the menu to take with me - just in case0
