Argh! I forgot all about that, I'd been looking forward to it all week. Another of my weird crushes was distracting me, Louis Theroux!

Wales isn't too far but the bed's in Caerphilly which is a fair drive, but as similiar beds tend to go for around a grand and we got ours for £129 :j it's worth the effort.

that's the duck scarf..i'm not sure whether ti means i have caved on the challenge or not, as i used vouchers to purchase it, so haven/t technically spent anythign :S

oh goan, i always get so frustrated when i find a furniture piece i like on ebay, and then find it's somewhere stupidly far like london or essex to go puick up by the time i have arranged a van and the colelction, it's not usually that good a deal :S

I never think of looking for furniture on ebay. Then again there's not much point because the house is full as it is. I want antiques though

I generally filter my search so that I find things "by nearest location" but that bed was such a snip it was worth it. The poor bloke selling it was a bit disappointed it went so cheaply, I think.

Alex - never search under "antiques". I tend to type in what I'm after and search the other categories. That's how I ended up paying £4.50 for a huge Indian Arts and Crafts carpet.

Ooh no, I wasn't meaning that I would search by that, just expressing a general wish for old things I work surrounded by them - it's very tempting to just want to take them home, especially the stuff in the storerooms!

After waking up an hour and 25 minutes after my alarm should have gone off I rushed in in my navy chinos, white button down collar shirt (it was the only one I had pressed, I usualy iron first thing in the morning), dark grey big diagonal check tie and my herringbone jacket, chocolate brown suede loafers.
