Morning all!
Just back from the thursday car boot and Jon's knocking up some porridge to warm us up, it's rather chilly out there this morning.
Sarah - Hope you have a good chat with Queen Michelle. Is she the one that one of the chav mags was going to interview about being a succesful blogger but dropped the interview when they discovered she was over 40? Shameful.
Today's outfit:
Bayeaux tapestry maxi (Vintage shop)
1980's black long sleeved body suit (Chazza shop)
Vintage 60's tweed waistcoat (chazza shop)
Victorian silver Vesta case strung on a long chain (Found in a box of family photographs yesterday)
Silver bangles and rings (India)
Silver and turquoise chandeliers (India)
1960's leather knee high boots (Charity shop)
Barry M's Mint Green polish (pressie from a blog follower)
Catch you later (when I've thawed out).0 -
Hello all, been in work since 7:30 and just got a stop for a brew. Dressed a bit trad today so no suit but.
Navy 2 button darted blazer, patch pocket and aged brushed steel pewter with a Royal Signals regimental blazer badge on the chest pocket.
Loose fit one pleat light tan chinos with turn-ups.
Pale green shirt (Actually not to sure it works with this jacket – probably would have been better with a blue or white).
Green and Navy Jacquard tie with gold detailing.
1½" wide black leather belt.
Black Ben Sherman loafers.
Sharon hope Luke gets it sorted today. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Hello all, numptybrain here forgot her password again, I hope you are all well. I spent the last two days sitting around in grotty tracksuit bottoms mind you so haven't had that much to share.
Me today:
Vintage yellow cream and grey striped shift dress (ebay)
silver grey slouchy cardigan (Primarni)
Khaki elasticated clinch belt (H&M)
Brown brogues (River Island)
Tweed coat (ebay)
Grey mittens (shop in Cologne hauptbahnhof)
Usual bead bracelets (recycled glass one and a new one made of recycled paperbeads from a market in Belfast)
Usual silver rings
I'm off to a kind of crafty people meeting in Shoreditch later, I'm rubbish at meeting new people and am really nervous. It looks really interesting though, they are doing a session making the labels I put on my blog recently and I think it would be good for me to try and meet some people that like doing the same kind of stuff as me. Nervous as eck though.:beer:0 -
RW, it will be great I'm sure! And having a similar interest gives you something to start a conversation on, and ikf it's a "hands on" thing, I'm sure if you got overwhelmed you could just focus on the "doing" part and not have to engage too much in the conversation.. Have fun!0

Well, I was naughty and had some retail therapy (although I had to cut it short as my OH had forgot his lunch so I had to take it too him which meant i couldn't spend my months wages in Boots )
I went mainly for warm stuff for the LO, well the selection for 15 month old boys is pants!!! Only managed to get him a scarf, hat and glove set, cosy jammies, slippers, a grow bag and long cosy socks.
So, I ended up visiting Dotty P's and didn't buy that tunic because it didn't look so nice up close. Tried on a few other things but didn't like any of them (gutted as some of them were lovely on the hanger) but I did buy a very thick batwing jumper with button detailing. £10 in the sale, 20% student discount so I only paid £8.
I got these in New Look. 20% discount again. There pretty(thats my justification even though I only just bought knee high boots!!)
I also got a basic jersey dress from H&M which is gorgeous and some long leggings. Pleased to say that I tried on £200 of clothes in Jane Norman and didn't buy a single item. I object to buying clothes 2-3 bigger than what I actually am and paying the over inflated prices!! That and the clothes never look very nice on me.
I think H&M may be my new best friend ...
My outfit today was gross so we wont even go there!! Suns out though :j.
Sorry for my ramble.xMake £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -

Yep, that's the blog - it was Marie that they decided was too old so they asked Michelle to do the piece on her own. She quite rightly refused.
Had a brilliant time chatting.
Packing for London...
