good machine but i noticed that you dont get upgrade choices like i would fancy a better graphics card but it does not give this option i have even tried other models and i still cannot upgrade the graphics card is there a way to do this.
    Waddle you do eh?
  • No upgrade path on the Inspiron 1300 or 640M, first one is the 6400 which can have a 128 or 256meg upgrade.

When you are buying a budget laptop you do not get a dedicated graphics card, trust me I know a lot about computers. If you are a gamer buy a desktop PC and add a graphics card or spend a couple hundred pounds more and get a mid range laptop like the dell 6400 which can have a graphics card added for about £70.

I got the 1300 a few months ago when it was two hundred and something and got the bigger battery.
