ski holiday from Ireland

I'm looking for some advice on booking a ski holiday from either Belfast or Dublin for after Christmas. It's for 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3 and 5. Am I right in thinking that Bulgaria is the cheapest place to ski (from Dublin)? I've looked at Panorama, but would appreciate any advice, either for travel companies or resorts etc. Thank-you!

If you can get to Romania from Dublin, it'll be even cheaper than Bulgaria. No idea if any of the companies do charters from Dublin though.

We used Balkan Holidays to go to Borovets in Bulgaria- it was extremely cheap both to get there, lessons and surviving there (food, drinks etc). The resort was excellent (a little basic for experts) and the lessons were better than the ones I had in Italy, by a wide margin. We flew from Bristol though (which I recognise isn't Belfast or Dublin) but it wasn't too traumatic (or expensive) to fly over to Bristol (we stayed with my sister who lives there).

I would recommend both Balkan Holidays and Bulgaria.

Thanks for all your help -I will check out the website etc. I think our cheapest quote was for Pamporovo -but having problems with ski kindergarten accepting our little girl -they take ages 4-7 and she's a month off 4 when we're there. -Will do some more hunting around -thanks again for all the advice!;)
