Apologies if not in the right part of mse.

I sent a full and final letter out to a dca collecting on my loan nearly 5 weeks ago. I have been patient, thinking they were 'getting themselves together' but they have not responded. Not even a letter to say they have received my letters [though not a problem because I sent them recorded ;)].

So I wonder if anyone can point me towards the next direction? The second letter asked for the cca. What's next? :o

edit - Would they be taking all this time to find the cca? That's if the creditor has even supplied them with it. Hmm.

Did you ask for the CCA after you sent the F&F?

Did you give a deadline on your F&F for them to accept your offer by (this is quite a good tip to stop them taking forever, even telling them if they won't accept by X date you'll offer the money to someone else).

If you have sent a formal CCA request (including the fee etc) and they have taken more than 14days then move on to the reminder letter etc.

It could easily be taking that long to find your CCA but often they write to say they are looking for it/requesting it from the original creditor.

Yes I have already sent the £1 for the cca and still nothing. I did give a deadline of two weeks for the f&f offer. How long do they have until they have to provide the cca?

Niddy's flowcharts recommend sending the reminder after 14days and then a dispute after 30days - so I guess 30days.
