Santander New Charges

Hi everyone, can anyone advise me:
I have been paying for my car monthly by debit card over the phone to Santander for months now due to them constantly taking money from my bank account unnessesarily.
Last month they said I had to pay another £12 each time I paid them this way because I was paying them over the phone.
Surely this is wrong .............can anyone help.....I pay on time every month but I am a Bankrupt for a year now.

I would imagine they can, providing they have amended the T&C to state this.
Why don't you pay by standing order? that way they cannot take any money from your account. They will just receive the amount you specify in the SO.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
