Tesco wine buy 6 25% off?

I went to Tesco tonight I had a till spit £3 off £20 spend.
So I bought 6 bottles of wine because of the 25% off if you buy 6, they were on offer £1.50 off now £3.49 each.
I knew with the 25% off it make my bill under £20 so I put in another bottle of wine again on offer £4 & 8 pk of Pepsi £2 my total bill came to £26.94
I was amazed when I got £6.24 off then I used my till spit so another £3 off I so ended up paying £17.70?

Surely that is correct? You had 25% off all the wine (6 x £3.50' plus 1 x £4). Wine total: £18.75. Plus £2 for pepsi = £20.75. Minus £3 voucher = your total.

No 25% off 6 bottles of wine!
So if you go with the 5 @ £3.49 & 1 @ £4 or 6 @ £3.49 how did I get £6.24 off before my voucher?

If you bought 7, you would get 25% off all 7. The offer was 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine. Any number of bottles would do. It doesn't have to be in multiples of 6.

Just to point out that they sometimes put the price up of the wine before the 25% off deal starts. I bought a bottle last week that was (I think) £6.49 - it is not over £8 so not sure the savings would be as great as advertised.

I only checked as the 25% off started the day after I had bought mine with the usual 5% off for 6 bottles so was kicking myself - some of the other offers that I had used had also gone eg 2 for £10 on bottles costing £8 each.

I think this offer ends today. The e-mail I received said it was "till the end of the month".

Thought it was only 6 bottles didn't realise it was 6 or more!

Very good prices for some nice wines!

Its a matter of individual taste - I thought wine snobbery was dead and buried and suggesting anyone is mentally deranged if they happen to like something you don't is a bit rude !
