Hi
My name is Chris, i have been on a debt management programme for 4 years now with a company named Chiltern. Well as i said 4 years now and i am paying the same amount back each months and just paying off my debt. My one creditor (bank overdraft) send me letters every 6 months and the other one for a credit card with the same bank have accepted my payment and have stopped the interest charges and i am now just paying off.
I am now paying CHiltern about £36.00 per month and they are doing diddly and i am now suffering from high blood pressure which i have started medication for - but i cannot see an end to this drama - can anyone offer any advice if i could eliminate CHiltern and just set up an agreement with the bank direct or offer any other advice.
I would really appreciate any help/advice.
Many thanks
Chris

Why don't you talk to one of the debt charities like the CCCS, they are free to use and they will advise you. They will have your best interest at heart, rather than making money from you like Chiltern.0

Hi
Yes cancel your agreement with chiltern, get some advice from one of the charities http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=2077631, who should be able to provide you with template letters etc. Then you can deal with this debt yourself.
You may need to give a months written notice to cancel chiltern, check the T&C from when you signed or possibly look on their website.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
