Will any lenders pay for my fixed rate exit fee?

Hi,

I am three years into a 5 year fixed mortgage at 5.75%, the only way I think its worth getting a new deal is by not paying the exit fee, someone told me that some lenders will pay this fee to get your business, does anyone know if this is true, and if so who?

It's not true.

The simple fact is that all current lenders can 'pick' the business they want - there is more demand than supply - they have no need to 'buy' business.

If your income, LTVs, credit rating etc are appropriate they will lend you the money (as part of the mortgage) to pay off your exit fees (Early Redemption Penalties).
