  • gilly welldone :j he seems to have cottoned on that although you may want something it differnet to needing and keeping things :) i am glad i was taught this early in life, but your son seems clued up now, hopefully he will sell it and wait till he has a full time job :rolleyes:

    Registering a vehicle off road can be done on the DVLA website or just tick the tax reminder and it gets scanned in over the counter, no forms to be filled.

    Leaving it on the drive/garage for 6 months/1 year is likely to do more damage than good, brakes could seize, oil could clog and any dirt particles in the engine will be given the opportunity to settle. tyres can become flat and lose their shape which cant be remedied by pumping them up, so would go along with most of the others and try and sell it. Whatever happens he will be quids in as he didn't buy it in the first place.
