This may sound like a strange one but i have no idea of the process..
Do you need a deposit when you move house? or does the deposit you get from the people buying your house go on as the deposit for tghe house your purchasing?

Not strange at all.
What happens is the deposit is usually taken from the proceeds of the sale of your house (this is all done by the solicitors).0
