Hi Guys
I made some fridge cookies last week....I know....they haven't all gone...it's worse, I forgot I had them...
Anyway, now that OH has remembered we have them (he's been away...) they are quite soft, not bad to eat but I think I'll make a fresh batch.
So....is there anything I can do with stale homemade cookies please?????
Thanks
Murtle

Cookies and ice cream ? bash 'em up and mash into ice cream !
Cheesecake base ? crush and mix with melted butter and press into a tin.
Chocolate biscuit cake ? I'm sure there are recipes on here somewhere.0 -
Have you tried refreshing them in the oven?
- I have never done it (don't last long enough round here!) but remember reading it somewhere
Could always try a couple first ....
cheers!
oops just reread title of thread - do you mean the melted choc and stuff no bake cookies? In which case ignore my witterings please!0 -

Ive freshened up biscuits in the oven before, keep an eye on them tho, you dont want them to burn!!!!0 -
No they aren't the no bake type, they are fridge cookies!!! I am trying to find the receipe for them at the moment. But you make the mixture up, then put it in the fridge for 30mins before cooking them. You can keep the mixture in the fridge uncooked for a week or two using it up bit by bit! They are great and so easy to make....and then forget once cooked!!! Good intentions.
Yippee found the link to it
