The OR advertises for any creditors to come forward by a given date. Anyone creditor who fails to do so, loses their entitlement to a pay out but the debt is still included in the BR, with a very few exceptions.
The one possibility would be that this was an HP agreement (secured debt) but that is uncollectable after 12 years.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

True for Debt Relief Orders but not for bankruptcy.
If the liability predates the order then it is covered.0 -

Big THANK YOU to everyone for your help, we received a letter from these leeches today saying they have looked into it and Yes it is statute barred and therefore they have closed the account and won't be in touch again.
Thank goodness for all your help, I dread to think how many poor people have been scared into paying for things they don't have to0
