Woot! Just read about the FL weekend on ebay - I'm not going to make my target for July, but a FLW means I can hopefully get some bigger items on ebay and get a good start for August!!

Off to see if any cashback requests have hit my account....

Hmm free listings is tempting......but I'm off on holiday for 10 days on Tuesday (v early am, back v early am a week Saturday), reckon its worth whacking some listings up even though I'm not going to be around to answer any queries?

Every time I swear off eBay they go and do a free listings day to entice me back! Does anyone know if turbolister is free too?

Tried to be brave and go to work this morning- to get sent home anyway cos I feel carp still. :(

Thanks for the info purple, might brave putting some stuff on this weekend. Just alot of hassel sometimes, I recently put a gorgeous dress on which I paid £50+ on last year, cut labels off "It will fit me one day" etc, and never worn it. The buyer paid about £6 (so got a right bargain), after I'd had to open a dispute for none payment/no contact etc, then miraculously managed to find the time to message and say the item had screwed up paper in the pockets therefore wasn't new. hmmm. So it does spoil it for us genuinely just trying to make a bit of extra money when some terds out there take the michael out of the system.

Rant over. I'll end up listing anyway cos the opportunity is too good to miss when it's free.

I think it's also free for people using the new ebay seller app on the iphone (free to upload) today also as well as the weekend.

    Happy selling everyone :o

Scuba, I would list for 10 days and just write on the listings- I will be unable to gain internet access before the end of the auctions, tell them the date you're able to gain back access, and just say sorry you can't answer any specific questions before then but hopefully they'll find all the information they need in the item description. Don't tell them you're going on holiday (previous buyers may know you're address from previous invoices)- security first and all that! ;)

    xx

ps- eta: the ebay i phone app has free listings until Thursday 29th, looks quite easy to use aswell (although I've not gone through a whole listing yet) But you write the item title in and then either pick a picture from your existing pics or take a new one. Looks quite good.

Good point, although the house won't be empty, my Dad's not going away, and any would be thieves would have to fend off the over friendly spotty dog - honestly he practically forces strangers to sit on the sofa and cuddle him until he's happy (which can take hours). :rotfl:

Scuba you could list for 10 days and put your account to holiday setting so that its clearly stated you are away until whatever date you are back.
