No and to be honest it is where most of my money goes, she costs me about 300 a month. I will be sure to make a note of all my expenses. In our house, hubby pays for everything apart from horse, food and diesel - which is what I pay. And my own cards which are 3500 ish (which obviously he doesnt know about)! I just want to get rid of the whole lot and get out my overdraft.
So you have incoming 1376
Outgoing
Monthly expenses listed 1430
Credit card 314 (you first said 3500 on two credit cards but listed three- are they all yours or does your husband pay one?)
Horse 300
Is your debt really getting worse each month by £670? This will let you know how accurate you SOA is. If you do have a shortfall of nearly half your salary you will need to take drastic action. That secured loan/HP is really crippling you- what is it secured on?But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Sorry I should have perhaps explained more clearly to avoid the sniping!
My Husband is in the Army and has served 20 years so far, I have recently finished Uni and we have moved into Army housing with no Council Tax, Water or Rent to pay.
I have a horse and 2 cats who cost me around 300 per month
I work;
an office job Mon-Wed 10-4 (541 per month)
a riding job thur-fri (610 per month)
And 2 other jobs caring for horses around this that bring me an extra £250 per month.
I already work 5-6, 12 hour days and bloody hard too (other than in the office like today!)
I have an overdraft of 1500
2 Cards 1 of 2500 and 1 of 900 give or take pence.
We run a 4x4 on HP for my work which is not economical but essential.
Does that make it any clearer?
My husband had to take on a considerable loan to get rid of ex wifes rights to army pension hense the huge secured loan on there.
Any thing else I have missed?
thanks to all of those who have helped0 -
Hi - Your explanation makes things much clearer! You asked for ways that you can save, so people are confused when you don't put things down like council tax and when you include your OH salary, but then say you don't want him to know.
If none of OH salary is available to you and he also is dealing with the secured loan and his credit card, it might be easier if you re-did your SOA with only your bits in it. Maybe with some notes as to what you pay for 2 (like shopping). I know this will be a simplified picture but then it would be easier to see if your income covers your expenses.
If you want to get the OD and cards down, then you need to make more of your income and budgeting where you can. A spending diary is a good start (keep a small notebook) write down every thing you spend.
I've read one of your earlier posts that says you only pay for horse/food and diesel (300+175+250 = 725) and you make about 1300. So on that reconing you are losing £550 a month somewhere.0
