My skin is driving me mad at the moment, its all red and blotchy and seems to be getting worse.
Can anyone recommend any skin products, cleansers, moisturisers etc that will calm the redness,
Many thanks

A brand called Mir is so gentle and I swear by their Argan Oil.

Buy a try me kit first to see how you get on with the range.
Also have you gone to your doctor? They can prescribe a gel which does work but can only be used short term as it thins the skin.
I had a massive breakout of roseacea the other week, think it was the sun. The Mir and started using the medicated gel got everything back to normal.0 -

Thankyou will look into that. The trouble with doctors is they don't take skin conditions seriously cos its not life threatening and more cosmetic really.
I have tried so many things and i'd give anything for flawless skin.:beer:0 -

I so understand you about doctors! None of them (I can never see my own doctor in my surgery, only one of the doctors on the day team) took my complaint really seriously and when I eventually got referred to a Dermatologist, he simply said I was using too many different things on my face (I wasn't) and that I had perioral dermatitis and not rosacea. So frustrating. So I have been to see an allergy specialist instead and I have been told to cut out any thing containing cow dairy, tomatoes and egg yolks. Only just started my new regime so it is still early to tell if my skin will improve.0 -
I actually use Freederm cleansing gel on my face. I used to use Metrogel as prescribed by the doctor but have just run out of it. Too be honest, the gel worked wonders when I first used it but my recent batch of gel didn't. Have just started using SOS revival cream by Elemis to moisturise.0
