Welcome Finance Admistration query

I have just had a phone call from a lady to advise my husband that Welcome have gone into administration. She asked me to get him to call her back as he's at work & can not accept personal calls during work hours. She said that due to some technicality (can't remember the phrase she used) that Welcome have to repay customers who have been over charged.... it was all rather confusing & am wondering how true it is - has anybody else had a phone call like this? I am not sure if she was one of these people who phone up saying you can reclaim you PPI on loans or if she was actually to do with Welcome - advice, please!!:think:

Welcome finance are having severe problems at the moment but they ARE NOT in administration.

It will be from some sort of claims company, hinting that they are from Welcome.

i have a loan with welcome finance and also a complaint re ppi

i have had no phone calls or letters from them for over a month which i was due one on the 13th june


wonder if they have gone under might give them a call

You could phone Welcome - not the number she gave you.

welcome wont call anyone to hand out money, its welcome after all

On the Welcome site it says they are not taking new applications, but I did wonder if she was from a claims company - she was rather vauge
