Maybe its because you're not applying for jobs in the field and its considered a "mickey mouse degree" outside of the Arts.0 -
Congrats on the job. I myself was in your position - but with a Media degree (people think that's a Mickey Mouse subject, but they can't be more wrong!!)
I graduated july 08, done temp work, got a job at a cinema in feb 09 for 1 year, then started working in TV
And now I've just got my 4th TV job until September.
The key is to keep trying and improving on how you're looking for jobs.0 -
Got my results and am applying for 30 - 50 jobs a week. I get no responses what so ever. I am applying for everything from retail assistant jobs to teaching assistant posts. I have a wealth of previous customer support experience and have previously volunteered for childline so it is not as if I have no employment experience. I am getting very disheartened and depressed. I want to do an MA in Social work but I need a job first to pay off some of my debts from my undergraduate degree!0
