Thought i would start a thread on fancy dress ideas as i can't find one in the search.

I am looking for ideas of what i can make for my 2 children ages 2 and 7 both boys to attend my husband work summer fair.

Any ideas welcome

Hi great idea I know your after ideas for 2 boys but I thought I'd share with you what I made It was my sons 6th birthday last week & as a surprise I made him a Jedi cape & my daughter a Princess Leia outfit (pics here on my blog http://craftyjuju.blogspot.com/2010/06/alexs-star-wars-party.html)

I made the jedi cape using a £2 blanket from Primark & this template http://www.degraeve.com/jedirobe/, we used one of his belts for around the waist.

For Emily's I got a ladies top from primark from the swim wear section for £3, it was the perfect length for her as a dress, adjusted the arms (halfed the length) & tied it up at the back.
