I like the orange fold-up bags too, the ones with the popper, made out of a funny meshy stuff! £0.75 each.
What's the cheapest loose organic fruit? Shame there's no loose weighed stuff, like grapes! 5 grapes, weigh them separately, free bag! That'd be true MSE!0 -
Lol. Well we bought things we needed anyway, we got two loose avocados, a bag of organic rocket, a red onion and an aubergine. So obviously the onion was the cheapest, but I'm not sure all stores stock the same range of loose organic food?Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0

Mine only stocks pre-packed organic - but we go through 2 bunches of bananas, a bag of apples, and at least 2 bags of potatoes every week anyway, along with various other things in smaller quantities - so we're not buying anything we wouldn't usually
Not seen the poppered bags - must look when I next go to a big store - they sound usefulDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
They often have offers on organic things too, recently organic pot's were half price, so you could look out for that kind of thing?
It's true not many stores sell looseorganic things, which kind of irritates me.
We shop at a 'green' sainsburys on the Greenwich Peninsula, which is frankly amazing for a supermarket. They have a glass ceiling so no need for masses of lighting, wind turbines and solar panels, and free electric car recharging points (never seen these being used though! lol)Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
Well - all the bags have gone in my local store - they haven't even got the display box out any more - you'd think they'd have had more than that though - there's still a week and a half to go.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0
