Its interesting to see it in sterling...all of it. I don't have tie to click link, but it would also be interesting to see other costs (e.. other costs of living, tax etc, ) and comparisons of percentages of incomes of average sharers on the respective countries too.0

As always, it's all about supply and demand.

But we can't have that, PN, because then the lazy parasite landlord class would have to actually earn and save towards their pensions like the rest of us.
Oh don't worry carolt some of us are slaving away to get as much as possible from our final salary pension as well as enjoying letting someone else pay a mortgage off on a property empire.
It's not all strawberries and champagne you know..... just at the weekend. Cheers.
(As for Hamish's amazing revelations..... well virtually everything else is more expensive here so it's no surprise that rents are. It's no susprise our av. salaries are higher than Spain's is it?)0 -

And some of us have morals.
I could have easily bought into BTL at any point in the last decade and a half, but wouldn't as I despise parasites like you.0 -

The roof over your childrens heads is being supplied by a parasite like me.
Oh and surely it would have been more sensible to buy your own place before a BTL?0
