£1800 collection fees

Have just received court forms relating to a £10K debt with HFC bank, which I agree I owe, but they are claimimg £1800:eek: collection fees as well as court costs and solicitors fees. Is it worth contesting the £1800 but agree the rest?

Also when completing the court forms do I have to put details of my OH income/expenses /debts, and if not what do I do about joint accounts?

Any info greatly appreciated
Thx

If you go to the court office (local court, if summons was issued at bulk handling court such as northampton) they will advise on how to fill up form.

Have HFC given any breakdown of the £1800 'collection fees' if not, I would contest them. There is a section which asks you if you contest any part of the claim.
