Hi All,
With the sun just gracing us for so long I'm keen to get camping... Lookign for a family tent sleeping 3 so probably 4 man? With living area. Any suggestions? Had Vango tent before really liked it but quite pricey...
All ideas welcome :-)

some great bargains to be had on ebay, other than that GO OUTDOORS do some great Hi Gear tents for less momney than the other makes,Gelert, Vango (dropped their quality) and ultimately the best IMHO OUTWELL, sown in groundsheet is a must, see ukcampsite.co.uk for reviews from genuine tent owners and seasoned campers for tents, gear, and campsites, enjoy.0

Have a look at outdoor megastore as well - they have some vangos, outwell etc that might be worth a look. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I can reccomend outdoor megastore I bought a tent a last year from them for a lot less than anywhere else. They have some great bargains but always shop around..
Go outdoors are good, as are Cotswold Outdoor and Winfields Leisure

An important thing to consider when buying a tent is hydrostatic head which is a measure of how waterproof a fabric is. This website gives a full explanation and a recommendation of at least 2000HH for this country.

This 8 person tent from Cyber Checkout is £100 and has a 3000HH rating. I can't vouch for the retailer though.

Cyber Checkout are really good. I bought a tent from them recently and due to a database error they sent the wrong one by mistake. They sorted it immediately and gave me a partial refund for my trouble. I was really miffed at first about it and felt really mean when they were so polite and efficient back!0
