When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.

There's an idea! I should probably try writing something longer than a few hundred words, and selling it; see what kind of response I garner.

I'd email as attachment, si possible.
Download sites you run the risk of people being unable to access them, or not being able to unlock it with the password (you'll need to protect it from !!!!!!!!!!s), and then before you know it they'll hit you with negative feedback. Ask people to give the email address they want it sending to in the payment information, and then you can send it there. Let them know it's gone via eBay messages, and warn them to contact you if they don't receive the email after 24 hours.
Burning discs and posting is a horrible waste of time and money, so avoid if you can.0 -

You need to read this page
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/selling-digital-items.htmlDigitally delivered goods and items which are transferred electronically are not permitted on eBay
Burning to disc may seem like a waste of time and money to you, but it's the only way the OP can sell ebooks on ebay.0 -
The costs are not prohibitive in terms of putting the product onto a disc.
Ive just been discussing it with the person who done the design and layout of the product. Since im going to have to send it out in hard form, im going to get him to design a nice cover for the cd and im going to price up some cheap printing direct onto the cd.
Dont want to send something out looking crap, even if it does eat slightly into the profit margin. When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -

Have you done your research?
You can get 200,000 ebooks on ebay for just £1.75. Will people be willing to buy just your one ebook?0 -

You cannot sell anything by electronic download through ebay, the only way round this is to list it as a classified item for 1p & put all of your details in the description box & include a clickable link.
The other option is to apply for a vendor account through clickbank & once accepted pay there one off fee of $49, you must have a website & a thank you page in place.
Selling a CD is better still, as most people prefer something psyichal as opposed to electronically & usually commands a higher price.

Well if ebay, the only way you can sell it is via a CD then that is what you will have to do.
It does seem obvious to me however that the other two methods should be tested by you. Then you get a good clear picture as to which direction you want to move in. What does the topic of the eBook surround might I ask?0 -

He may be offering a niche product that nobody else has wrote about?
If a lot (or even a wanting minority) wants this product he will have a demand and technically speaking an unlimited supply therefore able to command such a price.0
