I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post on so sorry if its not.
I recently bought a liteon dvd recorder (a 5600) from savastore and it has died, will not recognised loads of disks, even ones that it has previously recorded on.
I have emailed them three times and had no proper response (just 1 automated acknowledgement) - I did manage to find a phone no for their customer service today but its closed till monday.
If/when I finally get through to them, am I within my rights to demand a new cd recorder? I think I read somewhere that with laser products I am?
I don't have the original packing still, will that matter? And should I expect to have to pay post n packing to return it?
If they aren't forthcoming, is there any further action I can take?
Many thanks for any advice
