Hi I hope someone can advise me I have stupidly got myself into £6500 worth of debt. £3500 is on my mbna card which is interest free until march 2011. I have asked for an increase to £6500, but have been turned down so the other £3000 is on. my halifax overdraft. I'm planning to pay back around £250 per month. Has anyone got any advise for paying this back without having to pay the £2.50 interest charge per day with the halifax?

Do you have any other credit cards? Old ones that are empty even?
How many credit checks have you had in the last 6 months?
You may be able to apply for another 0% deal from another provider. Did MBNA do a credit check when refusing you?
