Welcome Car Finance

So I'm in work and get a letter posted on Friday saying sorry missed you please contact from some random number.

I ring and it was a company coming to reposses my car as I'd missed a payment previously, even though i'd paid my instalments since..

I'd received no notification, and to top it off they said they can't take the car off private property which at the moment as me and my wife have moved into my parents home, (well we renting off them as they have emigrated semi/retired) it would have been on the drive. So what was the point of them turning up unannounced?

Can Welcome do this?

btw I posted this in Loans but I thinkit should have been here...
