Hi folks

am looking for an evening job to keep my head above water, and have applied to arise, but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone would know how you get jobs like these?

You know where you text a number and it sends you the reply? There must be someone getting that reply at some point? Also the bingo chatroom hosts?

Would any of you know where to apply for these kinds of jobs please?

I'm sorry - I don't even know WHAT I'm looking/searching for, but I'm not a forum newb. I was just asking for some help.

I run a forum based site, I appreciate you get duplicate questions all the time, I'm sorry if you thought that's what this is.

I don't know what I'm looking for so am asking for help.

There may be others - I've seen various threads over the last year or so but can't remember the company names. I had to go back quite a few pages to find this one. Hope it helps anyway.

I think there is also a thread for teletech and lionbridge... and there was another one where you act as a home-based computer support person. Sorry I can't remember the name of the company (might be teletech for all I know!)... maybe someone else can remember?

Also, have you considered stuff like betterware or kleeneze, Avon, Body Shop? There are quite a few threads for party plan type things, and these would be evenings.

Thanks scaredy cat for all your help - I'm trying to kind of avoid selling things - I'm really a very shy person and asking people to buy things from me is not my style. I appreciate that needs must and all that, but that really would be my last resort.

I would really be interested in the home based computer support, that sounds right up my street - I'm definite geek
